Your Invitation to . . . A Garden of Healing™
Expo & Conference Featuring Marianne Williamson
By Kay Walburger

The Secret Garden is a beloved classic story of three children who discover an abandoned garden and claim it for their own. They work at clearing, cleaning, and restoring it to its natural beauty. As they dig in the earth planting new seeds and bulbs, magic takes place in their lives. The garden begins to return to its former glory and each of their lives are both healed and enriched by the garden experience. Many of us long for our own personal healing experience in a ‘magical garden’ now more than ever before.

Most of us have a favorite garden in our lives that continues to nurture us. It may be your grand-mother’s garden, now a memory, or your very own window or backyard garden where you spend your time lovingly doting on it, or some public gardens where you join family and friends in celebration of the goodness in your life.

Gardens reach humans at so many sensory levels. The beauty of growing trees, plants, flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices presents a feast for our sight, sense of smell, taste, touch, and hearing. The healing energies and vibrations given off by the living plants are harmonizing the energies in humans helping them recover and sustain their wellness.

The healing effects of higher plants are now being documented by healing practitioners and research scientists. Herbal remedies are as old as time and as new as the latest research in medicine. Aromatherapy is a hot subject. You are starting to see its positive results as more and more shampoos, deodorants, and room fresheners are now boasting aromatherapy benefits.

Sound therapy is gaining prestige as a healing art. Color therapy is coming into its own although it has its roots in ancient Egypt. More natural foods are now being extolled for prevention of illnesses and restoration, rejuvenation of health and well being. Exercise, sports, yoga, dance, movement, in various modalities are invigorating and healing. Arts and self-expression are being used in profound healing experiences.

Sandra and James Randel designed this exquisite event with you in mind. For several years they were exhibitors at ‘Health and Spiritual Expos’ in the southeast area of the U.S. and enjoyed the process so much they decided to create their own special Healing Events for the west coast.

They were pleased with how meeting people in person and making heartfelt connections grew their business and expanded their client base. Sandra noticed her classes and workshops educated people to new perspectives, while they created more opportunities for in-depth connections. The public had fun meeting and talking to the exhibitors and facilitators because they could ask questions important to their personal situation. The ‘one-on-one’ experience is most people’s favorite venue, because they want to look you in the eyes, feel your energy and hear if you are speaking from your heart, as well as head, before they make decisions.

“We wanted to create an event with the ambiance of a beautiful garden setting and close to the neighborhoods where the public and exhibitors live. The garden with plants, fountains and soft music in the background all are crafted to support the feeling of relaxation and comfort.”

“Your experience at the Garden of Healing™ will present exciting and diverse opportunities designed to educate, inspire, enlighten and entertain. We bring together professionals, retail establishments, schools, publications and healing centers specializing in the balance of mind, body and spirit. A Garden of Healing™ showcases products and services that provide avenues for natural healing and well-being,” continues Sandra.

“Included among our exhibitors and presentations are yoga, beauty and fitness, meditation, counseling, complementary medicine, psychic research, music, art, self help, spirituality and science, nutrition, education and more.”

“Visitors can choose from one of many workshops offered by local specialists, sit and enjoy the music, browse through exhibits or attend a lecture given by leaders in the holistic field.”

“Americans are more willing than ever to take responsibility for their own health and wellness. California leads the nation in individuals seeking real and practical alternatives to health, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. A Garden of Healing experience is rich with opportunities to “sample” many options available in your neighborhood!”
