is considered by many to be his signature artwork. It depicts the angelic vision he saw during a near-death experience in 1986. Lakey is the world’s most famous living angel artist. His works hang in the Vatican, as well as the palaces of royalty and the homes of American presidents and show business celebrities. Lakey claims he was told by angels to paint 2,000 angel paintings by the year 2000. He will unveil his 2,000th angel painting in San Francisco at midnight, December 31, 1999.
