Tips on Keeping Mind and Body Young
By Jesse Anson Dawn

Jesse Anson Dawn (at age 61), author of the national award-winning book, Never “Old,” plus The Rejuvenator’s Bible, speaks out about a most stirring subject: how to counteract the unwanted effects of “aging.”

Presently answering the question: “How does the reap-what-you-sow concept of karma affect our aging?”

Dear Readers,
More so than gradually, there is what I call the ka-chunk!/quick-karma effect on the aging process. A classic example of this was recently paraded before us via TV (TubeView) screens all across the USA.

I’m referring to the suddenly very old face of “Dubya” Bush revealed in the post “Katrina/Rita” hurricane disaster “photo-ops” — the “approval ratings” nose-dive — presto that had some people asking: “What happened to the “cutsie/boyish” face of our Boy King Prez?”

Yes, despite “presidential power”, sooner or later, the valid reap-what-you-sow concept of karma does indeed rule. And although the recent twin-hurricanes tragedy is especially bad for those residents unable to make huge “rebuilding” profits (as in the Cheney-Halliburton creating-a-need scam in Iraq, and now in Texas and Louisiana), still, and duly so, major physical and spiritual dues were revealed on the post Katrina/Rita faces of Bushita Inc.

Indeed, not even party-line reporters from ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX Inc. could resist daring to compare the karmic disaster U.S. Gulf Coast to “downtown Iraq”, or could they avoid hinting to the fact that it’s an obvious public relations cesspool for Rove/Cheney/Bush et al. But dare they mention Bush’s most (visual) clue, .i.e., his face, the real (and completely non “charming”) face of a now obviously guilty, greedy and foolishly evil old man, whereby the genie of truth may NEVER be able to be crammed back inside the GOP propaganda box?

Further, can they now admit that Bush’s (now lost forever) “cute and boyish charm” is obviously NOT winning the favor of the Mother Nature/”Christian God”, despite Bush’s so-called “popular with the Christians” pro-war stance?

As on and on the wheel of kar-ma spins, not only influencing our “age” and “angelness”, but I find that “weather” is most definitely influenced by spiritual weather-angels if you will...which (on a personal note) is why I always pray for a sunny day whenever I organize an outdoor event...especially during the last fourteen years, a time when I’ve been “lucky” enough to never have suffered a rained-out concert, even after organizing dozens of them in this especially rainy area of east Hawaii.

But of course all this is “trivial” compared to the Big Picture “revealed” via the TV-Trap, a trap I recently wrote a song about, a song that I had the gumption to share with a large crowd (yesterday), a piece I call:

(which happens to be a key secret
to a “younger” world)

Help a peaceful culture be,
it’s our truthful culture see,
come on peaceful culture
dance us free-ye-ye-ye,
No war is needed for the youth to grow,
come on peaceful culture let us grow,
help a peaceful culture rule,
it’s what they should teach in school,
Instead of caught inside a television—
headed for a brain collision—
a war machine on every screen,
fighting against our peaceful mission,
Where “freedom” has become
just free & dumb,
a boob-tube style rendition,
but peaceful culture can save us,
and give us back true vision...
Stand up, stand up, stand up be strong,
not pulled into a war gone wrong,
stand up to give your
youthful dance a chance,
Help a peaceful culture be,
it’s our truthful culture see,
come on peaceful culture
dance us free-ye-ye, ye, ye...

All of which brings me to wish you happy karmic rejuvenating, and of course happy holy-days during this season of celebration and gift-giving. May the angels reveal the truth to us (whether it be calm or stormy), for we DO reap what we sow — Selah (a word which I’m told is translated as meaning “forever)...”
