Q: I am questioning the presence of God in my life. When everything seems to be dissolving around me, where can I turn to reestablish my faith?
Jack,

Laguna Niguel, CA

A: It is easy to lose faith when conditions are tough as they seem to be for many of us at this time. If we allow ourselves to fall into depression during such times, it is reflected in everything we do. By the Law of Attraction, we draw to ourselves those experiences that reinforce our beliefs. If, however, we make the choice to view ourselves as living successful and fulfilling lives, then that becomes our experience.

Choose an area in your life that you feel strongly is working well. By your clear intention you can associate these strong feelings of success to any area of your life. Imagine how your life would be if you felt about your faith in God the same way you feel about this other area of your life that is fulfilling. Say this affirmation: "God and I are One and I have the faith of God within me, NOW." Say it silently, then aloud, until you can FEEL it in every cell of your body.

Q: What does it mean to "be the change you want to see in the world?"
Andrea

Mission Viejo, CA

A: This quote is attributed to Mahatma Gandhi, a sage, mystic and political activist in India during the latter part of the 18th and first half of the19th centuries. He believed that to achieve a greater good in the world, he had to adopt within himself that which he wanted to achieve outside of himself.

The spiritual practices of meditation, prayer and contemplation are meant to shift our inner experience of Life so that it can be reflected in our outer experience. In our philosophy, the Science of Mind, we practice Spiritual Mind Treatment, or affirmative prayer, which is a transformative tool to raise our consciousness to be in alignment with a Higher Power. As above, so below ‹ as within, so without.
