How to Improve Your Relationships with
Your Higher Self and with God
By Dr. Juliet Tien (Dr. J), D. N. Sc.

This article is designed to help you improve your relationship with your higher self and/or with God, so that you will experience love, peace, abundance and happiness without huffing and puffing. If you have been working too hard to get what you need, want, and desire, then you definitely need to read on!

God exists! It took me several decades of research and experiments to come to this conclusion. “Where is God? How do you know God exists?” you wonder. The answer is very simple. If you believe that you exist, then God exists, because you and God are one! Since God is omnipresent, God must be in you!  I am not here to impose religious beliefs on you; instead, I am here to show you how you can enjoy an easier life by becoming a spiritual being — regardless of your physical, emotional and financial states. The following are practical steps for you to take to reach that state.

Daily Meditation
Meditation is a practice through which one can achieve a state of calmness and peace. Some people also use this practice to train the mind to develop insight. When your mind is centered, you can be miraculously creative, efficient and effective. I know some of you are too busy, too lazy, or both, to meditate daily. Therefore, I have designed a ten-minute meditative technique. There are 1,440 minutes in a day. If you cannot spare 10 minutes to do “fast meditation,” you are not serious about improving your quality of life!

The best time to meditate is early in the morning when you awaken. If every minute counts for you in the morning, just choose a time during which you can meditate regularly. Consistency is the key! If you can also meditate before you go to bed, you will see a dramatic increase in your creativity and productivity. If you don’t know how, just go to your local public library to check out my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing. There is a chapter in the book which teaches you how to meditate quickly and effectively. I have donated quite a few copies of my book to public libraries; please take advantage of them!

Constant Prayers
Whether you believe in God or not, I suggest that you pray!  It’s free of charge. You have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. Rev. Paul Deever from Olathe, Kansas once said, “Prayer is the Inter-net of the soul, reaching around the world.” If you pray constantly, you will have a constant direct line connecting with God. When I say pray constantly, I don’t mean that you drop everything and do nothing but pray 24 hours a day. What I mean is that you remember to count your blessings and thank God when things are going well, and ask God to help when things are a bit challenging. If you do this on a daily basis, you will have a good day, every day!

Some people like to drop on their knees when they pray. This is a symbol meaning that you are humble. I do this at least once a day, in addition to having frequent “conversations” with God throughout the day. This routine makes me feel that I am not alone. I have a “partner” who is a perfect listener and a great sounding board. Many things are resolved in a most miraculous manner when I remain connected with God!

Physical Detoxification
If your body is loaded with toxins due to illness, or chemical substances such as drugs (marijuana included), cigarette, alcohol, etc., then your mind can be “pickled.”  It is important for you to cleanse the physical toxins from your body if you wish to enjoy mental clarity and productivity. An anti-yeast nutritional approach can prevent “new” toxins from getting into your body, and targeted Chinese herbal therapy can remove “old” toxins from your body.

“What is the anti-yeast nutritional approach?” you ask. An anti-yeast nutritional approach includes food with no sugar, dairy, wheat, yeast, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and chemicals. I know most of you live on the Standard American Diet (SAD) that is loaded with the above no no’s. Again, go to your local public library and read my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing. You will have a better understanding about what you can eat to stay on the right track.

Mental Detoxification
Ninety-five percent of people are addicted to negative emotions such as fear, anger, resentment, regret, or guilt. Are you one of them?  If the answer is yes, you need to release these negative emotions on a daily basis. Here are four steps to accomplish this. First, understand that everything happens for a good reason. No matter how unpleasant a situation is, it is an opportunity to learn, grow and expand. Once you understand this, it will be easier for you to accept the behavior of the person(s) who may have done you wrong. This acceptance will enable you to forgive. Forgiveness means that you give up your right to punish the “wrong-doer,” whether that is you or someone else. When you can truly forgive is the time you can release. Each step builds on the previous, and you must follow all four steps in the sequence described above in order to produce a clean slate!

As I said earlier, this article is not about religion. It is about you becoming a person who can enjoy love, peace, abundance, and happiness on a consistent basis. Research studies show that most of us only utilize five to ten percent of our potential. If you follow the above suggestions, chances are you will unleash your potential beyond your wildest dreams. There are two ways to do things: the hard way and the easy way. Which way do you prefer?
