Every time I meet you,
I meet myself.
This falling in love thing is so strange.

Every time I want you
I want myself more.
Every time I think of you
I think a lot… about myself.

I have this space inside that yearns and longs for completion.
I look everywhere for you.
I blame you,
I question me.

And I go places to get help.
Why are you not being all that I need?
I am hurt, I am in pain.

And in this quest, for love and healing,
I start to go inside.
I long to be better, to know, to understand.
I dare to move further.
I search all around, and I then look up.

And then there is God.

How amazing.
Because of our relationship,
To meet you,
I meet me, and God.

Thank you for being a mirror, a path, a way.
The best kind,
A union – the real marriage,
My sacred love, my sacred self.
