This article has three parts. Part 1 addresses how you can take: Step 1 to educate yourself, and Step 2 to remove toxins in your body. Part 2 discusses how you can take: Step 3 to regenerate your glands and organs, and Step 4 to cleanse your mental toxins. Part 3 explains how you can take: Step 5 to regenerate your physical and mental metabolic functions.
Step 5. Regenerate Your Physical and Mental Metabolic Functions
If you have taken Steps 1 through 4, you will find that you are becoming a different person — a person who has control over his or her life, instead of being controlled by your life events, whatever they may be. Now, there is another aspect of your health I must address, and that is your metabolic function. I mean both your Physical and Mental Metabolism.
You probably understand physical metabolism. To use plain language, physical metabolism is the speed at which your body processes food, turns the food into fuel (calories), and burns calories to turn them into useful energy. “What is mental metabolism?” you ask. Mental metabolism is the speed at which your mind processes emotions (whether positive or negative), and turns them into useful mental energy, so that you can be the best you can be!
Given the above definitions, how would you rate your physical and mental metabolism? Great, good, fair, poor, or I don’t know? Any room for improvement? Are you willing and ready to take one more step to achieve your optimal health? Read on, so you can make an informed decision ....
Now, it’s time for questions-and-answers again. Remember, be honest with yourself. * Are you sick and tired of your weight yo-yos? * Are you frustrated and disgusted by your uncontrollable emotional eating? * Do you feel guilty when you eat “comfort food”? * Do you feel sleepy and need to take a nap after you eat? * Do you feel “innocent” because you gain weight no matter how little you eat? * Do you eat until your jaw and stomach hurt, even though you are not hungry?
If any of the above apply to you, then you need to consider Step 5: The Comprehensive Weight Control System. In Step 5, you combine Steps 1 through 4, plus you take my weight control herbal formulas to boost your metabolism. A good weight control system should have the following three functions:
1) Curbs your appetite by providing you with high quality nutrients so your body is “satisfied” and feels no need for sugary, fatty or salty foods. 2) Balances your blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol, so your body is harmonized. 3) Burns the excess fat in your body and turns it into useful and productive energy.
Now that I have addressed the physical aspect of your weight control “journey”, let’s look at the emotional (mental) aspect of it. An overweight condition is a symbol of protection. When situations in your life trigger a sense of insecurity, you automatically (and unconsciously) try to protect yourself with extra weight. This is very common with people who were sexually, physically, or emotionally abused in the earlier parts of their lives (such as childhood or early adulthood). If you play ostrich by burying your head in the sand, you will experience weight yo-yos no matter how many weight control programs you have tried.
I know it is not easy for you to admit that you are carrying some emotional baggage. I fully understand because I’ve been there! However, once you acknowledge that you need guidance and support, the journey is actually easier than you think! Again, traditional psychotherapy does not work if your weight problem is associated with yeast and parasitic infections, and deep-rooted emotional and spiritual conflicts. You need spiritual psychotherapy! As in Step 4, the goal of spiritual psychotherapy is to help you understand, accept, forgive and release whatever emotional issues are “eating you”. When you reach a state of peace and love for your self and with others, the need to stuff yourself with food for protection or comfort will not exist.
The five steps I’ve described so far have been responsible for my physical, mental and spiritual fitness for over 30 years. You, too, can achieve the same if you take those steps. One Thousand miles begins with the first step. One important thing for you to remember is that taking any step is better than taking no step! Once you begin to take the first and the following steps, your direction in life will become more and more clear. Pretty soon, you will realize that suffering is simply an opportunity for you to learn, grow and expand. We were all born with a unique mission. Perhaps your mission is to learn to set yourself free, and then teach others to do the same.
