The Science of Soulmates
The Direct Path to the Ultimate
By William Henderson
William Henderson’s “The Science of Soulmates” is by far the most outstanding piece of work I have read in the genré of soul-mates. Henderson literally takes off where Redfield’s Celestine Prophecy ended, exploring some of the most challenging studies on life and love I have seen.

This intense, thorough and scholarly work is not for the faint of heart, yet at the same time, it is constructed in such a way that it is an understandable read even to the newest metaphysicians and self-searchers.

At the beginning of the book, Henderson brings to light his amazing theory on the creation of the universe — which I found intriguing and very palatable. He believes the world was created by not one, but two distinct forces — male and female. This is the basic premise from which he describes his outstanding research on soulmates and how we come together to create one unified being to fulfill our individual and collective purposes.

I love the following quote: “If the Ultimate Beings are two, then we must evolve in twos. That is, we journey through lifetimes always connected to one another. If the story of existence is the ultimate Woman and the ultimate Man desperately trying to awaken and find one another, this must also be our story.”

What further impresses me about “The Science of Soulmates” is that Henderson does not take the term “science” lightly. He is obviously well read and has formulated his hypothesis in a true, scientific manner.

Henderson has left no stone unturned in “The Science of Soulmates,” making it an informative and extremely well-researched masterpiece. I highly recommend this book to everyone, whether you have found your soulmate or not!

The Constant Creator in You
By Ralph Carpio
Ralph Carpio’s “The Constant Creator in You” is a refreshingly powerful book that breaks the mold of self-help books on the market today. His straightforward, almost humorous way of presenting age-old material in an easy-to-digest format, makes reading and utilizing the principles in this book a delight, while also serving to help change the readers life!

Carpio reminds us that “You can’t be robbed of your creator-ship. But you can throw it away by refusing to accept it.” When I read that I nearly fell off my chair, as I realized we all do that to some extent in our lives. Imagine if we could just follow that simple suggestion of accepting our full inherent power, where we would be today!

“The Constant Creator in You” is also jampacked with clever, yet enlightening concepts coined by Carpio, such as “The Giant Soda Machine” which explains that all you can put into life is a mere yes or a no, similar to putting money in a soda machine and pressing the button for your choice! And “Unnecessary Boxes” — meaning that who is to say what dictates the fullness of the life we can live?

Other chapters include outstanding presentations of Carpio’s unique and sound wisdom such as: Life Power — “Life doesn’t command you, you command life; Living Statements — life is constantly speaking to you; and Reality Check — you are never bound by your circumstances.”

I firmly believe that this important book will be of major assistance to all, no matter how far or how long one has been on the path to self-improvement or self-actualization. Thumbs up for Carpio’s “The Constant Creator in You”!

The Deeper Wound
Recovering the Soul from Fear and Suffering — 100 Days of Healing
By Deepak Chopra

In response to the September 11th terrorist attack, Deepak Chopra was compelled to write “The Deeper Wound.” What amazes me is that Deepak, his wife, son and daughter were on three different planes leaving New York City on that dreadful day.

I am very impressed with the forward of this book which is written by Gotham Chopra, a Channel One news TV reporter who had the courage to return to New York City the same day to fulfill his duties as a television journalist. As a dedicated journalist myself, I don’t know if I would have had that same sense of dedication and courage!

Meanwhile, while Gotham was handling his professional responsibility, Deepak‘s plane which took off a mere 45 minutes before the attack, had made an emergency landing in Detroit. Because of security measures, he was  forced to rent a car in order to make his way back to California. This gave him the opportunity to be a source of comfort and solace to hundreds of people he met along the way, many who had read his books or heard his tapes and who were griefstricken by the assault, not only on the people who died, but on the comfort and  well-being of Americans as a whole.

These interviews are at the heart of this outstanding book designed to bring to light the stages of grief, how to deal with fear and its bedfellow of suffering, and offers 100 effective healing meditations that can be implemented daily for maximum benefit to the reader.

On a sad but poignant note, it is dedicated to three women who died on September 11th. Ruth, Paige and Julliana were on  planes which crashed into the World Trade Center. They just happened to be enroute to The Chopra Center for Well-being to attend a healers’ workshop. Let’s honor them by reading this book from which funds will be donated to the American Red Cross.

CELL TOWERS
A Wireless Convenience? Or Environmental Hazard
Edited by B. Blake Levitt
Gone are the days when you had to pull off the freeway in search of a pay phone to place a call. With every technological “advance” towards greater luxury and freedom, one is presented with the so-called ‘side effects’ this miracle brings with it. With every invention or advance comes responsibility, and that is true for the explosion in wireless communications.

“Cell Towers” presents an informed and valid concern regarding yet unexplored side effects of the massive increase in these towers sprouting up everywhere in response to consumer demand. Environmental exposure from cell tower masts is still a very gray area about which this book wants to inform you. Wireless communication companies will need to address, in cooperation with environmental agencies, the impact that ambient non-ionizing radiation is having on our families, our health and on our planet.

This is a passionate text written for the lay reader as well as the informed biologist. Inside you will find legal petitions, websites, and proposed federal legislation that is current and timely.
