The Final Prophecy and Ninth Sign of the Hopi states, "You will hear of a dwelling-place in the heavens, above the earth, that shall fall with a great crash. It will appear as a blue star. Very soon after this, the ceremonies of my people will cease."

A red star named Mira (pronounced my-rah) after the Latin word for 'wonderful,' has an amazing blue comet tail following it. On August 16, 2007, www.sciencedaily.com reported, "People have watched the star break down for 400 years, but only recently have astronomers noticed that it is leaving (blue) material behind as it cruises through the universe at 80 miles per second.

When viewed with ultraviolet imaging from a satellite, Mira displays a wake four times the diameter of the moon, material that may one day build new solar systems, such as carbon and oxygen. Mira is shedding material that will be recycled into new stars, planets and possibly even life as it hurls through our galaxy." Many people believe this is the blue star  for which the Hopi people have been waiting over a thousand years.

"The story of the Blue Kachina is a very old story, very old," Dr. Robert Ghost Wolf writes in his book, Last Cry Native American Prophecies & Tales of the End Times. "I have been aware of the story of the Blue Kachina since I was very young. I was told this story by grandfathers, who are now between 80 and 108 years of age.

"It was told to me that first the Blue Kachina would start to be seen at the dances, and would make his appearance known to the children in the plaza during the night dance. This event would tell us that the end times are very near. And then the Blue Star Kachina would physically appear in our heavens, which would mean we were in the end times.

"In the final days we'll look up in our heavens and witness the return of two brothers who helped create this world in the birthing time. Poganghoya is the guardian of our North Pole and his Brother Palongawhoya is the guardian of the South Pole. In the final days the Blue Star Katchina will come to be with his nephews and they will return the Earth to its natural rotation, which is counter clockwise.

"This fact is evidenced in petroglyphs that speak of the Zodiac, and within the Mayan and Egyptian pyramids. The rotation of the Earth has been manipulated by not so benevolent Star beings. The twins will be seen in our Northwestern skies. They will come and visit to see who still remembered the original teachings flying in their Patuwvotas, or flying shields. They will bring many of their star family with them in the final days.

"The return of the Blue Star Katchina, who is also known as Nan ga sohu, Ghost Wolf says, "will be the alarm clock that tells us of the new day and new way of life, a new world that is coming.

"We are living in a pivotal time in the history of humanity," states Adam Yellowbird, head of the Institute for Cultural Awareness (ICA). "The world has awaited a renewed life's plan. Now we look towards our grand elders and wisdom keepers' Cosmovision for specific instructions and guidance towards reconnection to the natural laws. The seen and unseen from the past, present and future unfold. Destiny brings us all to this point in time. The men and women of wisdom have returned. History and Her story are unfolding in front of our very own eyes."

The Flying By family of the Hunkpapa Lakota people adopted Adam Yellowbird when he was 21 years old and since then he has been traveling all around the Americas visiting various spiritual leaders and indigenous elders. Yellowbird went on a vision quest to the San Francisco Peaks and discovered his destiny is to be a bridge and a messenger.

The most phenomenal event in the world is happening beginning Earth Day weekend, April 18-28, 2009 throughout Northern Arizona. ICA is presenting The Return of the Ancestors Gathering. It is an historic, international, multicultural gathering and sacred pilgrimage welcoming over 72 indigenous elders and future wisdom keepers, representing the voice of Mother Earth.

Its first pilgrimage stop is in Sedona, Arizona. Opening ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. on the 18th. There will be ceremonies held for our Mother Earth and for all of humanity. "Please join with the Elders throughout these days with your prayers and intentions," Yellowbird requested, "we are inviting the world to join together with one voice, one prayer and one Heart energy for peace, unity, the healing of our Mother Earth and for the healing of our ancestral memories.

There will be Elders and the Future Wisdom Keepers... the children, shamans and spiritual leaders of indigenous people of the world will come together to create a new life plan. Yellowbird explained, "a new calibration of the Earth will be shaped to help with the Healing of Ancestral Memory of past wounds, wars and cultural differences."

"Humanity has waited for the day of peace and harmony to reign in this world for hundreds of years," Yellowbird declared. "We are at a pivotal point, where action needs to be taken. We must move in a new direction with each individual seeking the healing of his or her ancestral memories. This will enable humanity to move forward. A proclamation will be made for the ancestral memories to be healed globally for all time and space."

One Mayan prophecy states, "At the time of the 12 Baktun and 13 Ahau is the time of the return of our ancestors and the return of the men of wisdom." "That time is now," says Grandfather Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj, President of the National Mayan Council of Elders of Guatemala and of the Continental Council of Indigenous Elders and Spiritual Guides of the Americas. Grandfather Alejandro will be attending.

Support the Ancestors Gathering by attending and joining with the Elders in Northern Arizona. It is a wonderful way of linking your energy and prayers to the intention of the gathering. You can also do this from your home through a personal ceremony, through gatherings with others in your community, in backyards, mountains, by sources of water like lakes, rivers and springs, inside churches, synagogues, mosques and other places of worship, or sacred sites around the world.

"During the eleven days of ceremonies, prayers and celebration, nine stone tablets will be brought to the gathering," said Yellowbird. "A new directive will be set in stone by The Elders and youth alike. Using glyphs, symbols and words, this set of guide stones will shine a light on their interconnectedness of all things; inspiring mankind to walk lightly on the earth once more and to leave a legacy for the future generations to come."

If you want to attend or are planning a gathering in support of the Ancestors Gathering and would like to let others know so they can join with you, please let us know and we will post it on our website www.earthworksforhumanity.org
