NHI Offers Free Presentations



The Natural Healing Institute, a state-certified college of Naturopathy in Encinitas, announces the following free presentations:

Thursday, January 7, from 7-9 p.m. NHI instructor Coryn Leaman will offer a free presentation about the Hawaiian Healing Arts. Topics will include Lomi-Lomi massage, Oluli & Oluea and Kaomi Lomi. Oluli & Oluea is a fluid style of bodywork based on Hawaiian dance movements and Martial Arts. This Temple Style of bodywork includes the knowledge of Hawaiian Healing and works on deep levels of cellular memory. Kaomi Lomi is a fluid Hawaiian style of Shiatsu. The College is sponsoring a training in Hawaiian Healing Arts beginning January 11 through March 18.

Friday, January 15, from 7-9 p.m., NHI instructor Graciela Reyes will offer a free presentation about the many facets of Shamanic Healing. Topics will include using non-ordinary states of consciousness to access deeper information for healing, traditional Huichol Indian Shamanism, and Plant Spirit Medicine. The College is sponsoring a training in Shamanic Healing held every other Sunday, beginning January 24.

NHI provides classes and workshops that lead to certification and professional license in: Nutrition, Herbology, Massage, Hypnotherapy, Body-Mind Integrative Therapies and Holistic Health Practitioner.
