Tips on Keeping Mind and Body Young
By Jesse Anson Dawn

Jesse Anson Dawn (at age 63), author of the national award-winning book Never "Old," plus The Rejuvenator's Bible, speaks out about a most stirring subject: how to personally control the unwanted effects of "aging."

Presently answering the question: Is "time" your friend or enemy?

The time has finally come! As the whole planet celebrates the ending of the disastrous 8-year Bush Nightmare. Yes, maybe now I can hold my head a little higher in foreign places, traversing this world tour UNASHAMED. . .

Also, it's about time for the film industry to wake-up and change how we "kill time" watching movies, a time for exposing us to films about peace-making and natural goodness instead of so much war, thievery, oppression, gunplay and murder... a time for more movies like the intelligently-wonderful classic called The Great Debaters (2007, directed by and starring Denzel Washington), a film for EVERYONE...

"My only enemy is time," said silent movie icon Charlie Chapman, trying to survive  as a "star" despite the advent of films they called "talkies." Suddenly Chaplin saw himself becoming irrelevant, frightened of being "phased out" by "time."

Oh the woes of being "phased-out" by the ticking clock. . .  All of which is why I choose to make time NOT an "enemy" but a friend, whereby LOVE of LEARNING and LOVE of LIFE can GREATLY slow-down the unwanted effects of "time."

Are time and love-of-learning compatible? Only time can tell.

Thinking about taking the "time" to learn reminds me of back when I was in high school, when love-of-learning first dawned on me, when I began to realize the gaps between most of what they teach in school and actual reality. In truth, there is only ONE high school lesson that has stayed with me as continually relevant:

It was taught by Mr. Cunningham (my junior high "phys-ed" teacher), when he explained to us "the best position for a good, positive night's sleep":

"Flat of your back, with arms held next to your hips, palms down," he said. And I've been taking this good advice ever since, avoiding the neck and back pains (and also the drooling) caused by my previous habit of sleeping on my stomach.

So, if you're still alive and out there somewhere Mr. Cunningham, let me say THANK YOU for sharing that important tip!

Indeed, true-to-life lessons about the care of one's body can be the most important and unforgettable things that we learn. . .  Thus the essence of this long-running column, whereby I FIND the "time" to think and write about the vast and awesome mysteries of self-creation. . .  going BEYOND the medical industry formula that "time" is primarily decay and death.

A classic example of someone who helped overcome the decadence of "time" is Nobel Prize winner Dr. Linus Pauling. During the 1970's, Dr. Pauling became famous for teaching people about the curing effects of ample doses of vitamin C, especially regarding the prevention and curing of cancer. And his life is a testament to the truth of his vision, for Pauling remained disease-free enough to live happily to the advanced age of 93.

But despite Dr. Pauling's important teachings, the effectiveness of vitamin C continues to be ignored by doctors as a valid tool against cancer. Is this because jars of vitamin C can be bought for a few dollars at any pharmacy? All while the usual (chemotherapy, radiation and surgery) cancer treatments are commonly peddled to patients for as much as $100,000 or more, keeping "standard" cancer-treatment looming as one of the most profitable businesses on the planet.

Indeed, what doctor possessed by the "time-is-money" notion would jeopardize the huge profits of the cancer-curing trade, profits that can make them richer than oil tyrants, profits that would nosedive via inexpensive alternatives.

Thinking of working alternatives again reminds me of 1982, when famous film director John Huston allowed me to try (free of charge) some of my CE-mind power-healing techniques on him. Mindpower-healing being my alternative to the standard emphysema treatments being sold (quite expensively) to Huston by his team of doctors, all of whom terrified him by saying he had only "a few months to live."

But despite the "few months" his physicians predicted him to survive, John Huston went on to live, direct movies and prosper for five more years. Yes, by merging mind power-truth with "time," John greatly extended his life. And when I first began working my treatments on him, I remember him voicing this classic statement:

"Im SO tired of these so-called doctors feeding me this feeling of dying and being robbed at the same time."

But as COUNTLESS numbers of Americans experience this same terrible feeling, isn't it about TIME for a CHANGE? For as Dr. Linus Pauling so wisely said: "Science should not be a search for money and power, but a search for TRUTH."

And so I, like Linus Pauling, seek out a truth-fed journey, LEARNING to be a genuine example of what can happen when we discover REAL WAYS to become friends with "time," directing it to MAINTAIN LASTING ORIGINALITY. . .  realizing that to live TRULY WITHIN THE PRESENT TIME, one needs to live TRULY WITHIN their body. . .

Jesse is presently on a sabbatical in the Philippines, thereby not readily available for his Hawaii Island seminars. He can be communicated with in Asia (to answer any questions about true rejuvenation) at
